About Lippmann

Since 1923 Lippmann has been designing and manufacturing top of the line crushing, screening, and stacking equipment. The company began as Lippmann Engineering Works, and the cornerstone of the company has always been heavy-duty jaw crushers. Lippmann was a family-owned business until 2018 when it was sold to McCloskey International and then purchased by Metso Minerals. After the acquisition Lippmann has continued to produce a premium product with superior service and support.


Dragon A400

Lippmann uses the Dragon A400 10 hours a week to process tube for railings on their industrial Equipment. Previous to the Dragon A400, Lippmann was using a hemi saw and hand notching square tubing to make the safety rails on their equipment. The automation of plasma cutting end cuts and marking bending information has given Lippmann the ability to produce better safety railings on their equipment. Now the safety rails are round, include bends, and produced more accurately at a rate 30% faster than before. Lippmann estimates that the Dragon A400 has reduced labor time by 25%. The plasma cutting does not just increase the efficiency and of production, but produces “a lot better quality than before."
